Returns & Refund Policy
Thunderdome Arena
At Thunder Dome Arena, we specialize in collectible trading cards and card-related accessories. Because collectible items are highly condition-sensitive and subject to fluctuating market prices, our return policies are designed to protect both our customers and the integrity of the collector marketplace.
By placing an order with Thunder Dome Arena, you agree to the policies described below.
1. Return Window
Eligible items may be returned within 14 days of confirmed delivery.
Return requests submitted after this window may not be approved.
The return window for collectible items is intentionally limited due to the rapidly fluctuating nature of the trading card market, where card values may change quickly due to market demand, pull rates, grading outcomes, or community interest. Limiting the return period helps prevent speculative purchases or market manipulation through delayed returns.
2. Return Authorization Required
All returns must be approved before shipping items back and assigne an RGA#
To request a return, please contact:
Your request must include:
• Order number
• Item(s) being returned
• Reason for return
• Photos (if claiming damage or incorrect item)
Returns sent without authorization may be refused and returned to the sender.
3. Condition Requirements for Returns
To qualify for a return, items must:
• Be returned in the exact condition they were shipped
• Include all original packaging and protective materials
• Not show signs of tampering, use, removal, or swapping
• Not show new damage, creasing, bending, scratching, or other alterations
Returned items are subject to inspection upon arrival. Items that fail inspection may be rejected or refunded partially at our discretion.
4. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return under any circumstances unless damaged during shipping or shipped incorrectly.
Trading Card Singles
Individual trading cards are generally considered final sale due to the risk of card swapping, grading abuse, or condition disputes.
Exceptions may be granted only if:
• The wrong item was shipped
• The item was significantly misrepresented in the listing
Minor condition disagreements do not qualify as misrepresentation.
Opened Sealed Products
The following items cannot be returned once opened:
• Booster packs
• Booster boxes
• Mystery packs
• Factory sealed collectible products
Once opened, sealed products cannot be verified as untampered and therefore cannot be accepted for return.
Professionally Graded Cards
All graded cards are final sale unless damaged during shipping or incorrectly shipped.
Clearance and Final Sale Items
Items marked Final Sale, Clearance, or similar designation are not eligible for return.
5. Restocking Fees
Approved returns may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
This fee helps cover payment processing fees, inventory handling, packaging costs, and administrative expenses associated with processing returns.
The restocking fee applies to the following situations:
• Buyer remorse or change of mind
• Incorrect address provided by the buyer
• Refused shipments
• Unopened sealed products returned
• Card supplies or accessories returned
Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.
6. Card Supplies and Accessories
Card supplies such as sleeves, top loaders, binders, storage boxes, and other accessories may be returned if:
• They are unused and unopened
• Returned within the 14-day window
• Returned in original packaging
These returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Opened or used supplies cannot be returned.
7. Incorrect Items
If you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
We will arrange for return shipping and replacement once the error is verified.
Failure to report incorrect items within the required timeframe may void return eligibility.
8. Shipping Damage Claims
If an item arrives damaged in transit, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
Please provide:
• Photos of the damaged item
• Photos of the packaging
• Photos of the shipping box and label
All original packaging must be retained until the claim is resolved.
Failure to provide documentation or retain packaging may void the claim.
9. Return Shipping
Unless the return is due to a confirmed seller error:
• The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Returned items should be packaged securely and shipped with tracking and insurance.
Thunder Dome Arena is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.
10. Inspection Process
All returned items are carefully inspected upon arrival to verify:
• Correct item returned
• Condition matches original shipment
• No signs of tampering, swapping, or damage
Thunder Dome Arena reserves the right to:
• Reject fraudulent returns
• Issue partial refunds for items returned in different condition
• Refuse returns that violate policy
11. Fraud Prevention
To protect both collectors and our marketplace, Thunder Dome Arena may:
• Archive product images
• Record identifiers or serial numbers where applicable
• Use internal tracking systems to verify item authenticity
Attempts to return swapped, altered, or fraudulent items will result in return denial and may be reported to payment processors or appropriate authorities.
12. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method after the returned item passes inspection.
Please allow 3–7 business days for processing after receipt of the return.
Shipping fees are not refundable unless the return was due to our error.
13. Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled only before shipment.
Once an order has shipped, the standard return process must be followed.
14. Refused or Undeliverable Shipments
If a package is refused or returned due to incorrect address information:
• Original shipping charges will not be refunded
• A 20% restocking fee will apply
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
15. Policy Updates
Thunder Dome Arena reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time in order to maintain fair marketplace practices and protect the integrity of collectible trading card transactions.
